Yes I think 'veganism' is kinda stupid. I understand vegetarianism but seriously the whole vegan this sounds like taking it to the extreme to me.
Also, the animals are still getting killed, even when harvesting your precious crops. Should I mention plants are alive too? When you're eating a salad, the vegetables are screaming-You just can't hear them.

What I hate the most is when people who eat meat come at you and while eating they are all of the time like; "Hey, this is baby pig, delicious baby pig who didn't make it". And seriously, I don't even be like "you shouldn't eat meat" or stuff like that, it was my choice. And those kind of things are said by adults... *sighs* I wish people could RESPECT that some people don't want to eat meat..
I don't hate vegetarians- I'm considering it myself, actually. But I think both the vegans who shove it down your throat and condemn you for omnivory are just as bad as the immature omnivores who shove meat in vegans' faces.
That's not really true, you can get a lot of proteins from other stuff too, but mainly from dairy and eggs, which vegans don't eat :/. Humans are basically meant to eat only a little meat, cuz in natural circumstances, it's really hard to get. In rainforests, where people live in tribes, the males hunt all day, and a lot of times they return with nothing. And also, meat is harder to digest than vegetables (except the palnt's cells cell wall, which you destroy by cooking).
never heard of that one. Only know that potatoes can be unhealthy if they have a green tint to them, like when you keep them for a long time, which is a certain type of acid that doesn't do you good (or something like that).

They replace that with "tofu-eggs" Having a taste for those one time, I must say, they're pretty good~ The good part is that they contain more than a decent amount of protein, calcium, and iron (good for those who are anemic and such).
I don't mind having tofu "steaks" every now and then (as long as they serve it with some gravy).

Oh... my... god... Soybeans... I grew up with them...... (financial crisis that led to only having those for a couple days) They're my most favorite food in the world.... If I see anyone eating that, I'd just say "You better share some of that." Of course, they hate it, so they give me the entire bag, dried or steamed. Either way.. I LOVE them

Vegetables do not have nerves or a brain they cannot feel pain... Animals, on the other hand, feel pain. Immense pain when being slaughtered. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I'm just saying, it's rude to laugh at another's beliefs. If someone loves animals enough to not eat them, let them. What's the harm in that? No harm, exactly. I also find it disgusting how you show no respect for the animals.
Not all animals are even capable of feeling pain. Bivalves almost certainly don't feel pain, nor do jellyfish and sponges. Also plants when attacked will release chemicals that attract insects to prey on their attackers. They may not feel pain but it's clear they don't enjoy dying just like the many other organisms that must do so in order for us to survive.
I'm not saying that it's acceptable be disrespectful of what others believe though.
Where you get that? I saw a lot of animals slain for food, and they just cut their throat, put a bucket under them, and wait while all of the blood spills out. And before that, you can see the animal running in terror, and gasp heavily cuz it knows it's being slain, like the others. And I haven't seen it on just for e.g. pigs, who have more intelligence than dogs, but as simple creatures as hens.
And plants don't have nerves. Look up plant anatomy for that.
That's YOUR opinion. I know that ever since I went vegan, I've lost 10 to 15 pounds (I didn't even think I needed to lose any) My dad is off several medicines, and my mother no longer had dieabetes. I feel more active, and sleep better. Quite frankly, I don't think it's right for you to call someone who doesn't eat the way you do retarded, but, whatever.

It's fact. Not opinion. Loosing weight is actually a PROBLEM for vegan, many become dangerously underweight. And if you didn't need to loose any weight, that means you have become underweight. Your dad will be on new ones then, such as vitamin supplements. And, you can become non-diabetic eating an omnivore diet.
I wasn't calling you retard purely because you're vegan, I said it because you said you couldn't care less about the animals and that you do it for health reasons that don't exist.
Excuse me? If you try it, and don't like it, then you can hate on it. Now please, this is MY opinion, and now I'm being called a retard for it? I simply said I could care less about the animals, which meant I wasn't into animal rights and whatnot. That means I did not go vegan for the animals, but rather, for myself. The only vitamin supplement we are on is B 12, which is no longer found in the earth's soil due to modern farming methods, and it isn't strong enough in plants. Other than that, we are on no others. And yes, I am aware you can reverse your diabetes on an omnivore diet, but it also worked on a vegan diet. As for the weight, before I weighed 125 to 120 lbs, and now weigh 110 lbs. I am 5 feet 6, so that is perfect balance of weight vs. height. I have not lost any since then. The reason you don't hear about proper vegan health benefits is because the ones you hear the most complaining about the vegan diet are the ones who unknowingly did it the wrong way, or failed to include an important vitamin in their diet. They are the ones who tend to complain the most. I know of many other vegan people who have thrived on their diet, and live with it day by day. Quite frankly, calling someone a "retard" because they do not follow your beliefs about FOOD is riduculous and, quite honestly, childish.

Oh my god, are you deaf? I called you retard because you said you couldn't care less about animals and you went vegan for non-existent health benefits. NOT because you're vegan, but because there's no reason to BECOME one. Here's a link to explain a few things on why it's unhealthy: [link] If you're able to read past the first few lines, you'll see it does not support your diet.
