Haven't critiqued anything in a while, and then I saw this. So naturally, I thought, why not offer a critique? I comment myself for my genius. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="20" height="20" alt=":clap:" title="Clap"/>

Okay not really. Anyways, I'll just get started with the critique. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x…" width="15" height="15" alt=":XD:" title="XD"/>;

VISION
Great! Everything is nice in this! The animation is smooth, the expressions are nice, your meaning is very well conveyed. I love how the laptop sort of 'bounces' when he's typing. I can't find anything wrong with the vision, so great job!
I'll give you a 4.5/5 for vision. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="19" height="19" alt=":la:" title="La la la la"/>

ORIGINALITY
This is really original! I don't think I've actually seen any other deviation like this before! Maybe I just don't browse enough, but this definitely isn't an overdone concept, so great job for being original! Whoo!
I'll give you a 4.5/5 for originality. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g…" width="17" height="15" alt=":giggle:" title="Giggle"/>

TECHNIQUE
The animation is really smooth, the explosions are flawless. The shading is great, everything fits perfectly. I guess you could add come lighting from the laptop. I can't really tell if it the light blue blob below the emote's eyes is light from the laptop, or if it's part of the shading itself. I guess that's the only thing that bothers me, everything else is great.
I'll give you a 4/5 for technique. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="23" height="23" alt=":w00t:" title="w00t!"/>

IMPACT
I think this is the only category where I can point out a few somewhat solid drawbacks. First off, if it weren't for the words, I would think that the emote's computer froze. It's really not clear that it's online advertising that caused the... explosions.
And speaking of explosions, I can understand why the laptop exploded, but the emote? <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="15" height="15" alt=":lol:" title="LOL"/> That was a bit weird. Sure, it acts as a nice transition, but I think it's a bit unnecessary and kind of weird. Even though it was animated perfectly.
Here's a good thing: It's actually great you used a gray background for the stamp, because the emotes different color emphasizes it and makes it the main focus of the picture, not the background, not the letters.
So good job on that!
I'll give you a 3.5/5 for impact. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" title=";) (Wink)"/>

Great great great job! The only reason I docked a few points on some of the categories was because I don't like giving (near) perfect scores, it makes me feel like I didn't help. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n…" width="15" height="15" alt=":noes:" title="Noes!"/> So yeah! I think you deserve a bit higher, but hopefully my critique helped!

Your emotes and stamps are always amazing. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":B" title="Bucktooth"/>
(400 words! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/f/f…" width="18" height="17" alt=":faint:" title="I think I've fainted."/>)
