I also think that it has overtaken society so much that even teens are getting into it. (Not even adults should look at it.) Last year, one of my classmates in my computer class got busted for downloading and looking at Internet porn. He was suspended, but when he came back, he actually tried to do it again.
Besides, why do people even make porn anyway? It's definitely an invention man did not need. There is nothing normal about looking at porn, and it is called the drug of the 21st century for a reason.
Although there has always been porn in some form, it is the most prevalent today and much easier to find than it ever has been. Just twenty years ago, it was really hard to find it. Nowadays, porn is all around us, unfortunately. The reason it is called a drug is because it affects your body just the same as drugs. Although you obviously don't ingest or inhale it, porn can cause addictions and cause someone to think about, um, the birds and the bees all the time. People can even become overtaken by porn.
Porn also devalues women, as it makes them look like they have no purpose in life other than to be objects of sexual desire.
Contrary to what some YouTubers say, the Internet is not and never was designed solely for porn. When it first began as the ARPANET, it was used for developing technology for the war. It was introduced to the general public as the Internet (or Super Highway) in the '90's, as a way for people to learn more about our world, communicate, and do research. The Internet was designed so people could communicate with each other and learn about our world, not drool over nudity.
I agree with your stamp and think that more people need to realize that we need to get rid of the porn on here. And it's not just DA, I mean, we need to get rid of porn everywhere.
