Like many of you may not have realized yet, the block function has been updated. So basically what changed is that you can no longer reply to comments from someone who blocked you. Before a block was only from the mainpage thus unable to devWatch, note or comment on anything of that persons.
At first I think it was some sort of bug I was experiencing, and was unable to reply upon being trolled on my own deviation, so I contacted the helpdesk. Here's their reply:
Quite simply, blocking means blocking. You are not supposed to be able to interact with somebody who blocked you.
Yes, you can no longer reply to ANY comment from someone who blocked you. This mean they can come onto your page and troll/flame you and you cannot reply. How nice!!
So how is this an advantage?
They can no longer harass you and/or stalk you on other peoples page and reply to your comments there. Cool!! And and err I guess thats about it.
Any disadvantages?
Having someone say just about anything(ask professional trolls for possibly enraging/frustrating comments) on your own page without you being able to reply/defend yourself. But thats still on since its your page/deviation-You can hide the comment. What If they go on someone elses page and start slandering you? Too bad, you cant reply.
Oh and to make things even better, they can reply to a comment you made anywhere, and slander/offend you even more, but you wont be able to reply back. Now thats sexy eh?

The only difference is that when they diss you, you won't be able to do anything back but just stare at the cool comment they left.
So your saying that they can block you and harass you all they want, but even if you block them back to prevent any further harassment they can still get at you?
But still, it's ok if you like it that way, I'm sure there are others who do too.
